ABOUT THE BOOK

"For every woman who flew when she thought she couldn't."

by Jonquille

A raw and unflinching memoir, Nothing But Grace follows Jonquille through ten years inside a marriage that slowly stripped away her identity, her voice, and her sense of self. From the intoxicating courtship to the gilded cage of paradise, from collapse to a shattering breaking point, and finally into the fierce, quiet power of becoming.

Written in the voices of the Caribbean, Verdancian Creole, Sapphire Bay Patois, and Caribbean English this is a story about what it means to reclaim yourself, your grace, and your right to fly.

The Journey Inside
